Car cover

The laminates manufactured by EXTEN are specifically developed to be converted in full or partial car body cover (FBC or PBC). This kind of solution represents the best practice in vehicles protection applications. The car cover indeed allows to preserve the car from external pollution from production plant to the dealer showroom.

EXTEN materials are manufactured through a continuous process of lamination of coextruded plastic film with different kinds of nonwovens (mainly spunbond and spunlace).

The nonwoven can be printed with any desired customizations (e.g. car manufacturer logos).

Car interiors

The collaboration with some of the leading manufacturers of car interiors gave EXTEN the opportunity to develop a range of high performance products, laminates (complex of multilayer plastic film and nonwoven) and films useful in molds protection during foaming or thermoforming process for headliners, door panels, soundproofing parts and carpets.

The use of these materials eliminates the need of release agents in the production process and at the same time it guarantees optimal results in the final product with an environmentally friendly approach.

Textile applications

We have a wide range of barrier and breathable membranes and laminates for protective apparels manufacturing. Several Nonwovens and colors available, customized solutions for antistatic requirements.

Our breathable membranes are widely applied for lamination with textiles or nonwovens for military garments, sportswear and mattress cover.
